Will my pet need to stay overnight after surgery?
Not always. Many pets can go home the same day after they are awake, stable and comfortable. An overnight stay may be recommended after complex or emergency surgery, or when a pet needs IV fluids, medication, pain management or closer monitoring. Your veterinarian will make an individualized recommendation.
How much does pet hospitalization cost in Austin?
The cost varies according to the reason for hospitalization, length of stay, testing, medication, monitoring and procedures required.
